Cambridge Synchro (CBS) is hiring for the position of Head Coach. Cambridge Synchro is an Artistic
Swimming Team practicing in the Cambridge (metro Boston, MA) area. The team has 60-70 athletes who
practice 1-5 times per week (depending on level) to compete at the regional and national levels.
Qualified swimmers compete at US Nationals and/or Junior Olympics. The season runs from September
through early July. The team is a partnership between the City of Cambridge Recreation Division
and Cambridge Synchro, a non-profit and volunteer-run organization.
The Cambridge Synchro Head Coach will work with Recreation managers, the Team's Parent Advisory Board
members and other coaching staff to administer all aspects of training, meets, and competitions.
This includes managing day-to-day administration of the team programs and assisting in the continuing
development of a high-performance culture within team members. Additional hours above the 10 to 15 to
accommodate practices at facilities outside Cambridge Recreation Facilities will be scheduled in
coordination with the Parent Advisory Board, which manages and pays for that aspect of the program.
